Build: Lithe and lissom, with inhuman strength

Skin tone: Stark white and translucent, displaying blue vasculature and connective tissue

     Hair: None

Eyes: Honey-yellow, glow in low light

Distinguishing Features: Exceedingly unique features. Though sexless, her features are delicate and pretty, but marred by the transparency of her skin and the daemonic glow of her eyes. She is considered terrifying, a perversion of beauty.

Dress: The dress of a Regency-era woman: gauzy white gown with empire waist and small, puff sleeves, Spencer jacket, slippers, and bonnet. Later, men's trousers, shirtwaist, waistcoat and boots, with a heavy Inverness cloak and fitted leather mask.

Special items: Initially, none. Later acquires a reliquary containing the heart of a loved one.

Proficiencies: Initially, none. Acquires proficiencies in multiple languages, self-defense, mechanical engineering, and survival skills

Special Abilities/Strengths: Exceptional ability to learn languages and acquire intellectual skills. Lesser ability to acquire physical skills.

Weaknesses: Very limited experience. As a creature born adult, she lacks the socialization necessary to interact effectively with ordinary people. As much as she would like to reassure and mitigate people's natural horror at her appearance, she lacks the ability to tailor her actions to affect the emotions she reads. She is extremely sensitive to loud noises and bright light, which causes her skin to redden and blister with lengthy exposure.

History: Constructed by a man obsessed with death, Miel was originally intended as a window into the substance of life. When that purpose was served, the mad Count decided to destroy what he had created, in order that he might study its death as well as its birth. Determined to live, Miel escaped with her sole companion, a clockwork golem.

     Home: Kassel von Morath

     Family:

Magnus von Morath: the scientist who created her, known as Count Death

Oliver Paladin: The clockwork golem who helped to build her

     Friends: Few and far between.

     Enemies: Magnus

     Significant Other: Oliver

Personality: Shy and retiring, afraid of the inevitable reactions to her face.

                         Intellectually curious

Fierce and obsessive: Loyal to those she loves, an implacable enemy to those who have wronged her

Interests: Learning in all forms, the immortal soul, the human fear reaction

     Likes/Dislikes:

Likes: Books, the colours blue and yellow, the smell of lilies of the valley, pretty things
Dislikes: Loud noises, bright lights, spiritualists and other such phonies, the smell of ozone

Connotative description: At once a child and an adult, struggling to fit into the world without the benefit of years of growing up, hampered by a monstrous appearance and lack of a human soul. She is at once pitiable and fearsome, at odds with herself, a life wrought from the detritus of death.

Canon: The Abominations of Count Death: A Monstrous Love Story (Original)
