Literature Text
In Flanders' fields, the poppies blow,
and we who walk among them know
that here men fought, and bravely died
with equal courage, side by side;
the lark has overcome the crow.
We touch the Dead in memory –
embrace them through the century.
The earth enshrines their valiant hearts
in Flanders' fields.
The torch has guttered years ago;
the enemy has been laid low.
And though your names should slowly fade,
your blood a better world has made.
Rest you now where the poppies grow
in Flanders' fields.

Remains Of A Flower
Remains Of A Flower
One by one
I love you so
Petal by petal
I want you to know
Second by second
I would never let you go
-
My sick heart clutched the surroundings on the inside
Filled with unseen love that can't make it's way to the outside
Unseen tears bide, along with these strong feelings that I try and hide
My whole body wants to just curl up every time I see you
Concealing the secrets within, I guess there's nothing else I can do
So like a human flower, the emotions I have for you just grew and grew
Never ceasing, never sleeping, never thinking of anything else
I hate this daydreaming, because I always self-consciously dou

A mind probing gaze
behind thirsty eyes

She shies away
maintaining her guard
but his love is too deep
she fell in too hard
Concealing her smile
impossible to hide
unveiling emotions
and the passion inside
Calloused hands slip
around her soft middle
firmly drawing her in
caressing a little
Arching her back
responding to his touch
the sensation on her skin
is enjoyed very much
Laying her down
his weakness and strength
he'd do anything for her
go any length
Her accepting eyes

Lose Yourself
No one understands me as I fall to the ground
My heart is breaking with each thump and each pound
It all started back when my life was so great
I had the one I loved and I made no mistakes
But once it all shattered I fell to the floor
And I did not regret all I wanted was more
The pain that I craved was beginning to be
Everything that made me feel free
My head was spinning and I felt like a mess
I wanted to sleep and felt more than less
The bones that would jut from the cave of my waist
Was almost as bad as the blood I could taste
My knuckles were raw and my throat was soar
What was I even living for?
I always felt dizzy and wan
